Cantine Colomba Bianca Scarl
Cantine Colomba Bianca works with two Sicilian denominations on an island-wide scale: Sicilia DOC wines and IGP extra virgin olive oil, distributed across three hundred and ninety-one municipalities in the region. On the wine front, the winery uses indigenous grape varieties—Nero d'Avola, Frappato, Nerello Mascalese—alongside international varieties, crafting reds, whites, and rosés that reflect the many facets of the Sicilian terroir. Rosé is where this interpretation becomes most explicit: inspired by the salt pans and coastal light, it shows how the family's enological vision renews with each generation without betraying the identity of the place. Alongside wine, there is olive oil, a second denomination that extends the work from the vineyard to the olive grove within the same protected perimeter. The strength of the house lies in its scale—hundreds of municipalities, many hands—held together by a direction that does not relinquish local character. Two products, wine and oil, are seen as parallel expressions of the same land: that of the island's interior and western coasts, where sun and wind determine much of the final result.
