Cantine Moroni Zucchi

Since 1948, Cantine Moroni Zucchi has overseen the viticultural side of Parma, drawing from the DOC Colli di Parma across fifteen municipalities. A single denomination, expressed through the grape varieties that define its identity—Barbera, Bonarda, and Croatina—capable of producing reds, frizzanti, and spumanti according to the minimum alcohol levels stipulated by the regulations. The method begins with hand-harvesting, which remains the foundation of their work and the premise for careful selection. From there, each vintage is allowed to speak for itself: the goal is not a polished, uniform pleasantness, but the particular voice of the soil, which changes from year to year. This approach prioritizes character over repeatability, making the Colli di Parma a territory to be read in its nuances rather than normalized. Nearly eight decades of continuity give the company a long-term perspective on this denomination, where the hand in the vineyard and respect for each individual season count more than any formula.
