CANTINE SEBASTIANELLI SILVIO

Silvio Sebastianelli founded his winery in Guardia Sanframondi in 1972, starting with bulk wine and transitioning, in the 1980s, to bottling in demijohns. The leap came in 1995 with the new facility in Località Vassallo, introducing physical must clarification, temperature-controlled fermentations, and refrigeration: tools that reduce chance and establish a repeatable quality from vintage to vintage. Their repertoire revolves around a single denomination, `Aglianico del Taburno DOCG`, interpreted in two styles: red and rosé. The choice to concentrate work on a single reference grape variety yields a recognizable Campanian style, built on the selection and processing of grapes rather than the breadth of the range. The winery does not receive visitors, but its identity remains entrusted to the character of Taburno, where `Aglianico` finds the structure and tension that distinguish it.
