Cantine Vitevis

Based in Montecchio Maggiore, Cantine Vitevis operates at the intersection of two complementary Vicentine denominations: the DOC Vicenza, spread across eighty-one municipalities, and Colli Berici, a more circumscribed hilly area. On this dual foundation, the winery produces white, red, and sparkling wines, relying on a wide range of grape varieties: Tai Rosso, the flag-bearer of the Berici, alongside Merlot and Pinot Nero. The range extends to Bordeaux varieties — Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon — and even Carmenère, following a repertoire that the regulations of the two DOCs rigorously codify for identity and quality. This production setup combines the scale of the provincial denomination with the precision of the hilly one, seeking varietal coherence in both rather than mere breadth.
