🏡 Tastings & visitsChianti Classico DOCG
Capannelle began in 1974 when entrepreneur Raffaele Rossetti acquired a 17th-century farmhouse in Gaiole in Chianti and planted 3.5 hectares of vines with indigenous grapes—Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, and Malvasia Nera. The property, now spanning 20 hectares with 16 dedicated to viticulture, produces roughly 80,000 bottles annually. The restored casale combines heritage architecture with contemporary facilities: a professional kitchen where chefs pair Capannelle's Chianti Classico DOCG with seasonal menus, and a spacious tasting room welcoming visitors year-round.
