Caputo 1890

Since its foundation, Caputo 1890 has cultivated the vineyards of Teverola, passing down four generations of expertise in the Agro Aversano, a territory where viticulture has become a defining landscape feature. The most iconic practice remains the Aversa DOC Asprinio, produced using the *alberata aversana*, a system where vines climb high, supported by poplars: a technique that continues to shape the very image of the area. The portfolio is structured around five protected origins. Three Campanian DOCs—Falerno del Massico, Aversa, and Galluccio—are joined by two IGTs, Terre del Volturno and Roccamonfina, offering a range that includes red and white wines crafted to highlight minerality and terroir clarity. It's an interpretation of the Caserta area that prioritizes precision over decorative gestures. The winery opens its doors to visitors: you can explore the production spaces and taste the wines on-site, with the *alberata* providing a natural backdrop to a story that begins with the earth and ends in the glass.
