Carboni Riccardo

Carboni Riccardo operates within the Alghero DOC, a denomination covering eight municipalities in northwestern Sardinia. The winery explores the full range of grape varieties permitted by the appellation—from non-aromatic indigenous varieties to international classics like Cabernet and Merlot—producing white, rosé, and red wines, all above the minimum 10% alcohol threshold. This is a choice of breadth rather than specialization: instead of focusing on a single style, the company explores the full potential of the denomination, experimenting with different expressions on the same terroir. The calcareous soils and maritime climate of the Alghero coast provide a common reference, imbuing the wines with a balance between fruit definition and structure.
