Carpenè-Malvolti

From Conegliano, where the vineyard-covered slopes of the Valdobbiadene area are now a UNESCO heritage site, Carpenè-Malvolti has been producing Prosecco since 1868. The house has contributed to establishing the very identity of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG denomination, interpreting Glera alongside minor grape varieties in both frizzante and spumante versions. Its story largely coincides with the history of Italian sparkling wine production, driven by methodical research rather than inherited formulas. The work remains anchored to the hilly terroir, where the slope and exposure of the hillsides determine each label even before it reaches the cellar. The resulting profile favors fruity character and drinkability, maintaining consistency between documented methods and raw materials from the Treviso area. More than a catalog of styles, the house offers a continuous interpretation of the hills, where the unique denomination finds diverse expressions without losing the thread that connects it to Conegliano and its 19th-century founding.
