Cascina Boccacci, led by Silvana Foglino, works across three Piedmontese denominations that draw a map of Monferrato. The starting point is Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG, where a dark-skinned grape yields structured reds with at least twelve and a half percent alcohol; from here, the estate expands to the broader Terre Alfieri DOCG zone, which features white wines from Arneis and reds built on Nebbiolo with authorized local grape varieties. Completing the trio is Barbera d'Asti DOCG, the red backbone of this part of Piedmont. This multi-DOCG portfolio is not merely a collection of labels but a testament to a deep-rooted connection to the distinct terroirs of Monferrato, each with its own stylistic demands—from the aromatic Ruchè to the more direct Barbera, and the Nebbiolo of Terre Alfieri.
