In the Rivetti hamlet of Neive, in the Cuneo hills, Cascina Vano has cultivated vines since the 1800s, but it was in the late 1960s that it became a fully-fledged winery thanks to Beppe Rivetti. Today, the helm is in the hands of the fourth generation—Bruno with his children Beatrice and Marco—with an attention to the vineyard and the territory that precedes every cellar choice. Four DOCG denominations define the repertoire, all expressions of a unique Langhe landscape. The two great Nebbiolo wines mark the long aging periods—Barbaresco with at least twenty-six months, Barolo with thirty-eight—while Dolcetto splits into two distinct interpretations, Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba and Dogliani, showcasing the versatility of the grape variety in the hands of the same family. It's a range that combines the anticipation of age-worthy reds with a more fragrant immediacy. By reservation, the cellar welcomes visitors for a tour and tasting: the most direct way to understand, glass after glass, the distinction between these four denominations.
