While rural Tuscany emptied toward city dreams, he acquired two stone houses and 40 hectares near the Romanesque splendor of Sant'Antimo Abbey, defying his parents' wishes for his life in an office. His decision anchored Azienda Pecci to Montalcino's volcanic soils, where Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, and Canaiolo Nero transform into Toscano IGT whites, reds, and rosés.
