Citille di Sopra transformed its identity in 1997 when Fabio Innocenti took the helm, pivoting from grain cultivation to winemaking while retaining decades of agricultural expertise. The estate modernised in the 2000s with a new cellar and tasting room, consolidating its focus on short-supply-chain projects. Today, from Montalcino's slopes, it crafts Brunello di Montalcino DOCG—pure Sangiovese aged a minimum of 48 months—welcoming visitors to experience the wines firsthand.
