Founded in 1961 by thirteen growers across the Salento peninsula, Cooperativa Produttori Agricoli harnesses over six decades of collective expertise in the ionosphere-influenced terroir near Brindisi. The cooperative's vineyards sweep across seven municipalities within the Salice Salentino DOC, where Negroamaro thrives alongside complementary dark-skinned varieties suited to the region. Visitors encounter reds, rosés, and whites—all fortified to minimum 12% alcohol—reflecting the intensity of southern Puglia's limestone soils and seasonal temperature shifts. The winery remains rooted in its founding principle: small-scale viticulture elevated through shared infrastructure and pooled knowledge.
