Costabona

Costabona works vineyard parcels in the heart of Collio Goriziano, with the Gorizia castle framed on the horizon. This family operation has tended the same hillside land since the early 1900s, maintaining direct stewardship of all holdings within walking distance of the cellar. That proximity allows the producers to monitor each vine throughout the growing season, translating into consistent fruit quality across their DOC Collio white and red releases. Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla, and Friulano anchor the portfolio, each reaching the region's minimum 11.5% alcohol while expressing the limestone and marl bedrock beneath.
