Crotta di Prado

Crotta di Prado is a family-run estate in Jovençan, where 2 hectares of hillside vineyards between 650 and 750 metres elevation face north toward the Alps. Since the mid-1980s, when the winery transitioned from home consumption to commercial production, the operation has expanded to yield 15,000 bottles annually across Valle d'Aosta DOC reds, whites, and rosés. Every vine task—pruning to harvest—is performed by hand across 17 fragmented parcels, a labour-intensive choice demanded by steep terrain and meticulous standards.
