Cupano

Cupano sits on stony terrain above the Ombrone river in Montalcino, where mineral-rich soils and natural drainage shape the character of its Brunello. The estate spans 35 hectares under organic management, with 6.4 hectares devoted to Sangiovese vines. Ornella Tondini and Lionel Cousin, who relocated from Paris in the 1990s, steward the vineyard with a maker's intent: each vintage captures the season's signature and the landscape's geology. Visitors encounter both wine and land together, tasting the result of four decades of commitment.
