Dal Maso works across two contiguous Monti Lessini appellations, crafting Lessini Durello spumante from Durella and its traditional co-varieties—Garganega, Pinot bianco, Chardonnay, and Pinot nero. The Monti Lessini designation opens further scope: bianco, durello still wines, and passito expressions all drawn from the same 27-municipality plateau. Each style reflects the limestone terroir and altitude that define this northeastern Italian zone, where the producer has established its practice on vines suited to cooler conditions and precise ripening.
