In 1930, Eugenio Di Gaspero chose to anchor his family to Friuli's soil rather than seek opportunity abroad. With his brother's expertise in viticulture, he transformed a subsistence smallholding into a purposeful vineyard operation across Faedis. Five generations later, Di Gaspero Flavia e Umberto remains a small producer rooted in the Colli Orientali's terroir. Their wines—Ramandolo's sweet Verduzzo, Rosazzo's crisp whites, and rare Picolit—reflect the territory's exacting demands. Visitors welcome in the tasting room can experience how modest stewardship yields wines of evident character.
