Marcello Di Pasquale cultivates Patata del Fucino IGP on the distinctive terrain of Luco dei Marsi, where the Abruzzo highlands meet the basin of a vanished lake. This microclimate—marked by the unique soil composition of the drained ancient lake bed—imparts the tubers' hallmark firmness and dense flesh. His potatoes mature to full ripeness with the characteristic non-separating skin and regular geometry that distinguish the denomination across its nine-municipality zone. On land reclaimed from water, Di Pasquale preserves the agricultural identity of the Fucino plateau.
