Diego Conterno commands the Nebbiolo heartland from Monforte d'Alba, where two of Piedmont's most demanding reds take shape. Barolo demands 38 months of aging to reach 13% alcohol, while Barbaresco settles at 26 months minimum and 12.5%. The estate also works Dolcetto across two expressions—the focused single-commune Dogliani and the more delicate Diano d'Alba. Visitors discover how ancient Piedmontese varieties reveal themselves only through time and discipline in the cellar.
