Domenico Clerico's operation in Monforte d'Alba commands four of Piedmont's most demanding appellations. The cellar releases Barolo with 38 months of aging and Barbaresco aged minimum 26 months, both pressed from Nebbiolo at disciplined alcohol levels. Alongside these titans sit Dolcetto-based expressions: the focussed Dogliani and the site-specific Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba. Each wine reflects the particular character of its source vineyard—a philosophy that views terroir expression, not intervention, as the winemaker's central task.
