Elena Catalano commands twelve hectares on Monte Pino, the largest of the eight hills encircling Benevento, where southeast-facing vineyards rise between 400 metres altitude and the slopes of Mount Taburno. Here, Aglianico—the region's signature dark grape—matures in its purest expression, shaped by the distinctive microclimate created by surrounding limestone massifs. The cellar's Aglianico del Taburno DOCG emerges from this singular terroir, aged 24 months minimum, a wine stamped by generations of family knowledge and the land's austere character.
