Fattoria di Montechiari

At Fattoria di Montechiari in Montecarlo, Lucca, Sangiovese and Trebbiano Toscano grow on hillside terroir that commands views toward the Lucca valleys. Moreno Panattoni and Catherine Pirmez have stewarded this estate since the 1970s, crafting reds, whites, and rosés under the Toscano IGT umbrella. Their Donna Catherine Brut, an organic sparkling rosé, marries French method with Tuscan fruit—pale pink, fine-bubbled, tinged with red berries. The estate welcomes visitors to taste five wines born from hands-on land stewardship and cross-cultural partnership.
