Fattoria San Donato

Fattoria San Donato stands on the medieval bones of San Gimignano, built around a Romanesque chapel along the ancient Via Francigena. The fortified villa retains original stonework and a stone tower—now a tavern for guests—overlooking the Sienese hills. The family works the estate daily, producing Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG whites and Toscano IGT reds and rosés from Sangiovese and Trebbiano vines. Visitors taste and learn directly from those who tend the land.
