FERRARIS ROBERTO Azienda Agricola

Ferraris Roberto Azienda Agricola has tended twelve hectares of vines in Agliano Terme since 1923, commanding terroir among Piedmont's most favourable for Barbera d'Asti. Some parcels hold vines approaching eighty years old, farmed in traditional Guyot style with yields between 50–80 quintals per hectare. A rigorous calendar—green harvest in late July, staggered picking—ensures complete ripeness. Steel fermentation at controlled temperature yields two steel-aged Barbera d'Asti and two oak-aged expressions. The estate welcomes visitors for tastings of its range across Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, Terre Alfieri, and Barbera d'Asti DOCG. The vineyard's microclimate distinction and century-old vines define its output: wines of measured power, guided by precision fermentation protocols that span ten to fifteen days depending on vintage character.
