Filippino Domenico operates from Neive, a UNESCO-listed hilltop village above the Tanaro river, steps from Alba. Three generations of family viticulture began when Evaristo planted the first vineyard in Serra Capelli in the early 1900s; Domenico expanded production in the 1950s with superior Nebbiolo and Dolcetto selections. Today, Elio Filippino steers the estate through terraced slopes ideal for extracting nuanced aromatics—releasing Barbaresco and Barolo after extended aging, alongside Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba and Dogliani, each reflecting the hill's mineral spine.
