Fossacolle

Fossacolle tends vineyards south of Montalcino at a density of 4,000 plants per hectare, where vines averaging 20 years old ripen under the Mediterranean influence of nearby Maremma. The Sangiovese destined for Brunello di Montalcino completes its mandated 48 months in aging before release. Three generations—the Marchetti family managing viticulture, with enologist Bambagioni overseeing winemaking and sales—guide this family estate through precision and continuity.
