Garbelotto Formaggi traces its roots to 1890, when founder Antonio Garbelotto carried selected cheeses across the Veneto countryside on horseback. Five generations later, the family continues crafting Montasio DOP at their Vittorio Veneto facility, where cylindrical wheels mature for at least 60 days into cheeses with compact paste and the subtle piqua characteristic of the denomination. The producer pairs traditional cheesemaking with a carefully curated retail operation, stocking regional and national dairy products alongside artisanal beers and wines.
