At Ghio Vini in Bosio, Dolcetto di Ovada Superiore emerges from 45 hectares positioned between Gavi and the Ligurian coast, where seven generations have tracked climate and season into their wines. Roberto Ghio, a philosopher-trained vintner, follows his family's legacy by interpreting each vintage as a historical record—its rains, snow, and winds inscribed in the bottle. The estate welcomes visitors to taste wines aged a minimum 12 months, each bearing witness to the Piedmontese terroir's distinctive expression.
