Gotto d'Oro

Founded in July 1945 by 41 vignerons in Marino's countryside, Gotto d'Oro emerged from a partially damaged state facility to become a cornerstone of Roman viticulture. The cooperative's iconic wine cart—an emblem of the Agro Romano—has graced bottle labels since industrial bottling began, signalling the producer's unwavering bond with Marino and Frascati. Today, Gotto d'Oro crafts Frascati Superiore DOCG and Cannellino di Frascati DOCG across five municipalities, blending Malvasia bianca di Candia, Bellone, and other indigenous whites to capture the terroir's mineral clarity.
