I Sodi

Gaiole in Chianti · Province of Siena · Toscana

Chianti Classico DOCG

I Sodi sits on twelve hectares of gently sloped terrain near Monti in Chianti, where oak and juniper woodlands frame the vineyard landscape. The eighteenth-century stone structure—built on what locals called "rocky soil"—retains its Leopoldian architecture and distinctive dovecote, commanding views toward Monte Amiata. Sangiovese thrives here on south-facing parcels that deliver consistent fruit quality, enabling Chianti Classico Rosso of unwavering character. Selective replanting honors the vineyard plantings established nearly fifty years ago while embracing measured modernization.
