Komjanc Nikolaj Simon

Nikolaj Simon Komjanc works on twenty hectares in San Floriano del Collio, with eleven devoted to vines. From these family-owned parcels, he harnesses white varieties—Ribolla gialla, Sauvignon, Pinot grigio, Chardonnay, and aromatics like Traminer—to craft Collio Goriziano DOC wines that marry modern technique with Collio's time-honoured methods. The winery bottles and sells its own production, anchoring quality control at the source. Simon Komjanc's daily rhythm follows the vine's slow but inevitable cycle: from flower to ripened fruit, from barrel to wine.
