Kren works the Collio Goriziano slopes near Cormons, where the border with Slovenia lies steps away. The estate traces its roots to the early 1900s, when grandparents first planted vines at Zegla, a hamlet tucked into Friuli's historic winemaking heartland. Today, from their Cormons cellar, Kren expresses this frontier terrain through white varietals—Ribolla gialla, Pinot grigio, Sauvignon, Friulano—and aromatic grapes that capture the region's mineral edge and climatic subtlety.
