Mauro Pacini acquired La Lecciaia in 1983 and modernized the estate with advanced winemaking techniques while remaining rooted in Brunello tradition. Positioned in Vallafrico, where terroir and microclimate converge to define Montalcino's finest expressions, the 60-hectare property holds over 7.5 hectares dedicated to Sangiovese for Brunello production. The estate's olive groves yield distinctive oil marked by low acidity, while remaining vineyards craft complementary wines reflecting the land's structural character.
