La Pieve operates in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, within Montalcino's most coveted terroir near the Romanesque Abbey of Sant'Antimo. Since 1986, the estate has produced around 4,500 litres annually of traditional Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC, crafted from Sangiovese grapes aged a minimum of 48 months. The winery also creates its signature blend, Agave—a Cabernet Sauvignon and Brunello Sangiovese assemblage calibrated each vintage to harmonize the distinct character of both varietals with seasonal conditions.
