La Source was established in 2003 by a group of young farmers rooted in Valle d'Aosta's agricultural heritage. The winery takes its name from a spring discovered during construction—fitting for an operation drawing strength from the region's water and soil. Today under the stewardship of Stefano Celi, the producer crafts Valle d'Aosta DOC wines in all three styles: bianco, rosso, and rosato, each meeting the valley's rigorous 9.5% alcohol minimum. Visitors to Saint-Pierre can taste directly at the estate, positioned near the medieval castle.
