Latteria Agricola di Marmirolo Soc. Agricola Cooperativa

Founded in 1966, Latteria Agricola di Marmirolo began as a cooperative milk pool before constructing its own caseificio in 1969–70, rushing production while the facility was still under construction. Membership swelled from 25 founding members to 52 within seven years, consolidating the cooperative's role in Mantua's Grana Padano region. Today it welcomes visitors to witness the slow maturation of hard cooked-paste wheels, each 24–40 kg, that carry the DOP mark of the Padano zone spanning over 3,400 municipalities across northern Italy.
