Latteria Soresina, a dairy cooperative since 1900, stands as the world's largest producer of Grana Padano DOP. Working from Soresina in Cremona, the facility transforms fresh Italian milk into wheels of hard, slow-matured cheese weighing 24–40 kg each. The cooperative supplies the 3,431-municipality zone across northern Italy and beyond, maintaining rigorous dairy standards across a herd of 52,000 cows.
