Le Grain

Le Grain emerged in 2012 when Claudio Berthod revived family vineyard plots in the Aymavilles–Saint-Pierre corridor, transforming land once reserved for household use into certified production. Across 1.5 hectares of owned vines, Berthod oversees every stage—pruning through fermentation—yielding Valle d'Aosta DOC wines. Indigenous varieties thrive against the Alpine arc, their expression shaped by territorial specificity and direct stewardship of both vine and winemaking.
