LUMINARI DARIO

Dario Luminari commands four DOCG designations across the Marche, from Verdicchio whites of Matelica and Jesi to the structured reds of Cònero built on Montepulciano and Sangiovese. His Vernaccia di Serrapetrona captures the dark-skinned native grape in both effervescent and still renditions, each requiring at least 11.5% alcohol. The span reflects a winemaker attuned to terroir variation: lighter, mineral Verdicchios emerge after 18 months of aging; more demanding Còneros undergo a full two years before release, developing depth at 12.5% minimum strength.
