Marco Salustri works in Cinigiano, a hilltop village in Grosseto's Montecucco zone, where Sangiovese thrives on mineral soils. His red wines embody the denomination's exacting standard: minimum 13% alcohol and 17 months in barrel to develop structure. Tuscan red varieties supplement the core Sangiovese, creating layers of earth and dark fruit that express both terroir and restraint. Each vintage reflects the specificity of seven municipalities united by climate and stone.
