Mastrosasso

Mastrosasso produces Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG across the eleven-municipality zone south of Bologna. The estate draws on Grechetto gentile and select white varieties native to Emilia-Romagna, crafting wines in three expressions: still, frizzante, and spumante. Each bottling reaches a minimum 11.5% alcohol, balancing structure with the minerality that defines this hillside terroir. The producer's command of technique transforms humble varietals into compelling ambassadors of the Bolognese hills.
