Patrizia Cencioni

Patrizia Cencioni's 50-hectare estate on Montalcino's southeastern slope emerged in 1989 from roots planted a generation earlier by her grandfather Giuseppe, one of the Brunello Consortium's founders. Today, eight hectares produce Brunello di Montalcino DOCG—Sangiovese aged a minimum of 48 months—alongside Sant'Antimo Doc wines and olive groves. The winery welcomes visitors and opens its cellar to tastings, where the technical demands of this Tuscan benchmark become tangible through glass.
