Perazzetta stands in Castel del Piano, where the Montecucco hills shape Sangiovese into wines of mineral clarity. The producer works within the Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG, a seven-municipality zone in Grosseto. Each vintage undergoes minimum 17 months of aging, allowing tannins to integrate and acidity to settle. Sangiovese forms the backbone, often joined by complementary Tuscan red varieties, creating wines that age with precision and restraint.
