Perla operates from Savigliano in Piedmont's Cuneo province, where it crafts Bra DOP across the denomination's sprawling 248-municipality zone. The producer masters both expressions of this cow's-milk cheese: the supple tenero, which yields to the palate with creamy subtlety, and the duro, whose extended aging develops concentrated flavour and firm structure. Each wheel reflects the Alpine foothills' dairy heritage and the precision required to balance softness with character.
