Piaggia

Piaggia produces Carmignano DOCG from its vineyard in Poggio a Caiano, an estate within Prato's historic two-municipality denomination. The winery's reds blend Sangiovese with Canaiolo nero and Cabernet varieties, following the region's centuries-old formula. Each vintage ages for a minimum of 20 months, building structure and complexity that reaches at least 12.5% alcohol. This small producer channels the dense volcanic soils and continental climate of the Tuscan hills into wines of genuine regional character.
