Pigno

Pigno, run by the Martari family for three generations, sits in Villafranca di Verona amid the Bardolino zone's low hills. A restored early-1900s farmhouse now houses their cellar, where Roberto and his sons Bruno and Stefano apply contemporary winemaking to the region's natural aptitude for elegant reds. Their Bardolino Superiore DOCG—built from Corvina veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella—ages twelve months before release, developing the mineral precision and red-fruit character that define the zone. Distribution spans Italian restaurants and wine bars nationwide and beyond.
