Planeta operates in Vittoria, at the heart of southeastern Sicily's Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG zone. The estate focuses on the region's signature blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato, producing rosso wines that reflect the volcanic terroir and warm Mediterranean climate. Each vintage undergoes a minimum of eight months aging, building structure and complexity within the appellation's strict framework of 12.5% minimum alcohol. The producer's commitment centers on expressing the distinct character of this historical wine territory across its 14 municipalities.
