Podere Assolati commands 100 hectares in Cinigiano, where Sangiovese and complementary red varieties thrive on the Montecucco plateau. The Giannetti family has orchestrated a three-part land strategy: Sangiovese vines destined for minimum 17-month aging in pursuit of DOCG expression, olive groves at 300 metres elevation crafting regional typicity, and pasture for Chianina cattle. Under Luca Giannetti's stewardship, the estate transitioned to organic certification, embedding sustainability into every production layer. Wines here emerge as direct testimony to terrain.
