Podere La Grotta commands a panoramic promontory in Cesena's wine country, positioned between the Adriatic and the Appennines at 250 metres elevation. Twelve hectares of vines rise across slopes averaging 20% gradient, bordered by centuries-old woodland. The estate's name echoes its dramatic geology: a prehistoric cave carved into marine sedimentary rock anchors the property's sense of place. Here, Albana grapes mature in the cool air funnelling between two landscapes, yielding both fresh bianco and concentrated passito wines, each marked by the terroir's mineral signature.
